Very nice, specially those titanium gloves!!!

I'm drooling.....

Happiness factor:

Here's what Solidus (r1-furom.com beloved member) thinks of them:

And that sounds good to me!

"Just got the gloves for X-mas. Beautiful to look at glove. It looks violent and threatening. Sort of like something that "Predator" would wear.

Fit: This is a tight fitting glove right out of the box, not that that's a bad thing. I have pretty small hands and take a size medium in any glove. The icon medium is like wearing a small Teknic. The fit is very snug at this point but I can only assume that as the leather breaks in it will give me a snug fit in the future. The fingers are also tight but I don't have a problem with them bunching up. Also the wrist gauntlet which has a zipper which runs along the top of the wrist , is a bit more snug than my Teknic violators. Overall I am quite happy with the pre ride fit so far.

Finish: This is absolutely a stunning glove to look at. The Titanium plates have nice secure looking rivets with ample amounts of padding underneath and you don't feel a hint of them on your hands. The more you finger the Ti the darker it becomes. Underneath the knuckle plate there's a leather flap which protects the wrist, if you peek under it, it says "RIDE AMONG US" in bright orange bold letters. Icon used a cambrelle lining underneath the leather finger armor , it doesn't look bad but if it starts to fray it will make the glove look cheap. ( Where's a lighter?). The feel from the finger tip and palm area is good even though the leather is thicker than what I had on the Teknic gloves. There's also a nice set of wraps for the thumb, palm and pinky finger. Not shown in any icon ad is the studded heel of the palm , which I don't believe is Ti. But nice protection anyway. The inside is lined with Nomex to defend against heat buildup from this.

Overall, outstanding product and they will definitely stand out in a crowd. I was told that the dealership came to a standstill when they were all crowded around to look at my x mas present. I'll update after a good break in period."

Now my impressions:

SweeeeeeeeeeeT!

Now if my fingers could be a lil`bit longer...see, that's my problem with most gloves...the tips of the fingers just curl because of this (about 3/8) but these have so much integrity (i.e. stiff) that I don't think that it will be a big problem.

The level of protection as far as impact goes is unsurpassed in the business...all Ti plates are at the right place!

A short zipper, a small adjusting straps are all underneath the big, adjusting/protective straps/flaps that have the big Ti plates on them to protect your wrists joints areas coupled with some kind of built-in elastic (stiff) will ensure that they stay on your hands in any situation...those wont slip.

Really comfy gloves, Kevlar double stitching everywhere, the underside of the fingers are single-stitched though, but the stitching is exterior for comfort, so they will be easily repaired if it ever wear out (in 3-4 years I guess!)

Those are made of thick hide, thicker than my GP PLUS gloves.

Overall, with my SPYKE KC-1,ARAI RX7,and Alpine Stars boots, I feel I cant be more protected in the case of a fall.

UPDATE: 03/05/24

Nice gloves...they don't bunch-up in the palm at all.

Feel is great even if they are thick sumbitches.

2 titanium-clad thumbs up!
