Customers service:
Main guy: Jeff Gehrs
Call him, he'll set you up with some amazing braking products,
both performance-wise and cosmetically-wise.
Products:
Lightweight discs in stock or oversize (front and rear),
calipers, brake lines and anything brake-related.
Construction:
Iron ductile brakes makes for lightweight discs and amazing performance.
We're talking full-floaters here.
Happiness factor:
Excellent feel and modulation, lightweight.
Functioning as advertised (much better than OEM).
You may have to machine a thin groove in your caliper carrier
since the holding bolts are a wee bit thicker...a very small contact
with the bolts heads is possible, although not on all bikes.
UPDATE: 03/05/24
The bolt-rubbing situation was not caused by the Braketech disc design.
It was a default of my rear caliper carrier, which I've replaced...and all is well!
Also, having powder-coated the swingarm, there was some paint left on the inner part
of it where the bracket slides; it was crooked...my own damn fault.
I'm happy to report no apparent wear after a year of usage, and a very good performance;
brake pads seem to wear at a very slow rate (I cant see any wear), and that is from a bike
that does a lot of commuting and from a rider which uses it.
Recommended stuff!
